EMC Standards is very excited to announce its first exhibition!
EMC & Compliance International, Exhibition & Workshops Join us at the Newbury Racecourse on the 20th & 21st May 2020.
For 2020 we have joined forces with EMC UK and re-launched the event as "EMC & Compliance International"an independent event at the updated facilities at Newbury Racecourse.
No longer limited to just EMC, this new event coversallproduct compliance issues!

Technical Workshops
We will be running six workshop sessions listed below, the presenters and schedule will be available shortly.
1. RED
2. Real Time Spectrum Analysis
3. Simulation
4. Antennas
5. Transport, Systems, & Installations
6. High Power EMI
Other Activities Being Planned
There will be a new type of free activity during the exhibition, at which delegates and visitors will be able to ask questions of a wide variety of EMC & Compliance experts, but with the time limited to 10 minutes for each visit to each expert.
A number of experts have already said they are keen to take part for various periods during the event, and we anticipate the that the exhibitors will want to provide many more, we would welcome your suggestions.
Watch this space! Future newsletters will list the topics that the experts will be offering, but we expect them to include:
1. EMC / safety testing requirements for products
2. D-I-Y testing techniques
3. Setting up an in-house test facility
4. Fixing EMC / safety problems
5. Designing for EMC / safety compliance
5. The uses and benefits of EMC simulators
6. Functional Safety Risk Management of EMI
7. Getting your test facility accredited by UKAS (even for in-house facilities) .
We are planning to invite an IEEE EMC Society Distinguished Lecturer to speak, on a topic yet to be decided, in the early evening on May 20th. Free snacks and drinks will be provided.
This would be a joint meeting between the IET Electromagnetics Network and the IEEE EMC Society’s UK Chapter, but anyone would be free to attend (i.e. you wouldn’t have to be a member of either society).

EMC Standards is a world-leading resource for all things EMC and EMI related. Our website is packed full of both free and paid-for content, including:
- Online quiz
- Webinars
- Training quiz
- And much more!
Electromagnetic Engineering (EMgineering) is the basis for proven good design practices for signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and the control of EMI emissions and immunity (EMC).
Our aim is to help people learn how to more quickly and cost-effectively design and manufacture electronic equipment (products, systems, installations, etc.) to meet functional (i.e. SI/PI) specifications and conform to EMC standards, directives and other requirements.
Such equipment should benefit from reduced warranty costs and financial risks, whilst improving uptime, competitiveness and profitability.
We also cover basic good electrical safety engineering; and the Risk Management of Electromagnetic Disturbances / EMI, whether for Functional Safety or other types of risk.
